La Mer is a product touted as very successful with ingredients that include sea kelp which is known for its anti-microbial properties, and other nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and lecithin; vitamins C, E and B-12, and oils of eucalyptus, sunflower, wheat germ, alfalfa and citrus. These items are fermented for 3 to 4 months to release vital energies of each, then the ingredients are distilled.
La Mer took approximately six years and over 6000 experiments by Dr. Huber, an Aerospace Physicist, who himself was driven to create a product that could alleviate burns he suffered on his face from an accident while doing an experiment, to produce.
Special care is taken with each jar as they must be individually hand-filled.
